Hi, I’m Emily - some of you may know me as the face of Max’s Market, a gourmet market, catering and yacht provisioning company I owned in Newport for six years. I'm now based back in NYC for most the year.
I’ve had the pleasure of cooking for clients in NYC, Southampton, Newport, Nantucket, Palm Beach and Santa Barbara.
I offer my unique, seasonal & casually elegant style of food to private clients: by the event, by the day, by the week - and by the fridge full
My top priority is taking care of my clients needs, everything from food preferences to event planning. My client’s peace of mind, ease and comfort are truly what come first for me, and of course, top notch food!
I’ve traveled to many parts of the world and grew up eating my way through New York City, which is, perhaps, the foodiest city in the World - I’ve learned how to cook food from many cultures and love to find new and surprising flavor combinations and techniques. I love food and bring my passion to the kitchen....your kitchen! I use as much seasonal and local product as possible. Humanely raised and sustainably produced meats, seafood and produce are important for our eco-system, and for flavor - we can taste love and care!
